Welcome to Designer Week, Day Five!!
I have been waiting for this event since it was born!
This inspiration came one day as I was making my own header for my blog. I thought, it would be so cool to get as many blog designers into one place and showcase their work, kind of like Fashion Week.
Between Monday, January 21-Friday, January 25, there will be different designers featured throughout the week.
Also, there will be daily giveaways for the first FOUR days of Designer Week and will run for three days each.
A total of 11 different winners; these designers will be giving away custom prints, signatures, social media buttons, and even blog designs! Isn't that awesome?
If you're new to blogging, feel free to check out all these wonderful designers and choose your favorite to work with for your blog. Seasoned bloggers, need a new face lift? Find a designer that fits your style and get that face lift!
If you admire someone's work, please head over to their media sites and show them some love and support for all the hard work they do to make our blogging and website community BEAUTIFUL! Or refer them to someone you know!
Thank you! And welcome to Designer Week!

2. How would you describe your style of work?
I am still brand new to
design, but I like to create designs that enable the user to switch
things around without screwing the whole thing up. Simple, but snazzy :)
3. What inspires your work?
Honestly, I am inspired by change. I'm
constantly changing my two blogs' designs and I needed an outlet to be
creative without annoying my followers with a new look every other week!
I like wider blogs and not a lot of clutter on the sidebar(s).
4. What are your TOP THREE favorite fonts to work with and your favorite color?
I love Pea Ellie Bellie, Things We Said, and Century Gothic. My
favorite color at the moment is a cerulean blue.
5. Please showcase your absolute favorite design you've ever created and why it's your favorite piece!
I just finished my first design
that wasn't for a friend: amosfoxfamily.blogspot.com/ I love how the fonts worked together and I really love how the Meet the Family section turned out.

2. How would you describe your style of work?
I'm a brand design strategist. I'm all about the way things work. So I love working with brands bringing creativity and strategy together. I'm a product of the school of minimalism thinking. I like simple and clean solutions and design.
3. What inspires your work?
I get my inspiration from all around me. I believe experience is what eventually pushes me to act. I try to always surround myself with good design and a creative environment.
4. What are your TOP THREE favorite fonts to work with and your favorite color? My top three favorite typefaces at the moment would have to be Avenir LT std, the works of Lost-Type Co-op Type Foundry, and of course Helvetica. Helvetica is what got me to really love typography and always will have a place in my heart.
5. Please showcase your absolute favorite design you've ever created and why it's your favorite piece! For me, I really enjoyed doing the Chicagood project. (www.chicagood.com) Since it was my own idea I had the freedom to take it any direction I wanted. I love creating for community and for social good. Chicagood was all that, and it was fun seeing my work inspire and get people to look at doing good in a different light in Chicago.

5. Please showcase your absolute favorite design you've ever created and
My favorite design that I've ever created would actually be my current design. It was inspired by the cover of an Instyle magazine that I had laying around the house. The cover actually was pink and white, but for some reason I had a strong desire to use mint instead. The gold glitter was added right at the end of the process in a random burst of creativity. It's my favorite for a lot of reasons. One is because I absolutely love the combination of mint and gold. Two because it's probably the most eye catching design I've ever done, but it isn't too busy.
