Coffee Talk

I'm linking up for coffee talk today with the lovely Natalie from 23seventeen! Missed last week because of my series on the blog, but am back this week!

1. When eating a taco, do you turn your head or do you turn the taco???
I turn my head when eating a taco and everything falls out at the other end. :(

2. Chocolate chip cookies or oreos??
Man, both are good, but I tend to go for Chocolate Chip cookies than Oreos.

3. What's the craziest thing you've ever been asked to do and DID?
My friend from Seattle was visiting me in Chicago. We were joking around about how we should just drive up to NY one night because she had never been! And we did!!! I don't know what possessed us, but we just packed our bags and left for NY a day after she arrived! It wasn't well planned and so I felt bad for her, but I hope she goes again to redeem her trip to NY :D

4. Never have I ever...
Learned to swim. Tried to learn in high school when it was an actual course freshman and sophmore year, but never got the hang of it. Still to this day, I don't know how to swim :)

5. Would you rather be broke and happy or rich and sad?

Hmm... Can't I be rich and happy? Hahaha~ I'd rather be broke and happy than rich and sad.
You're always happier with less money. :)

  3. I am so glad to meet another grown-up who can't swim! I really feel like I should learn, but I don't think they have swim lessons for old people, and I don't think I would go even if I found a class!

  10. I never learned to swim, either. I started taking lessons when I was 10, then got my first period, missed one lesson and never went back.

  11. That NY trip sounds exactly like something I would do. In fact, my husband and I kind of did a trip like that for New Years this year, only it was to Denver. Decided to leave that afternoon and were on the road by evening. Crazy, exhausting and so much fun.

  12. My friend and I did that spontaneous road trip thing once - only it was to Pennsylvania...and since we live super close to PA anyway it wasn't that exciting, and we didn't even stay overnight lol. I too have never really gotten the hang of swimming!! I was actually a licensed SCUBA diver at one point...but I'd never be able to do laps or anything. A doggy paddle and floating on my back are all I can accomplish!

  13. I think it's so cool that you guys just travelled to NY like that! :) Nice! I am sure you had a great time!

No swimming?! Not even a dog paddle?! I couldn't even imagine. I love the water too much!

  14. I would check to see if there is a "Y" around you that offers swimming lessons! I had a cousin who drowned when he was only like 7 years old, so I tend to be avid about knowing how to swim ;)

  15. I can't swim either! Never learned. I really need to take some lessons, I would like to know how. I just want the chance to prove that money can't make me happy...(sigh)

As Roald Dahl once said, “A little nonsense now and then is relished by the wisest men.” So add a little nonsense in the comment box! Thanks!
