What Happens When Your Best Friend is Also Pregnant!

After I found out I was pregnant, I was waiting for my bestie to find out if she was pregnant too, BEFORE I told her my news. :)
Here's her pregnancy announcement! :) She's a photographer in the suburbs of Chicago, so if you ever need pictures, she can definitely take them for you! :) She's an expert with baby photos as well! I wish we lived closer so she could take newborn pics for me :( Here's her Facebook page! Pizza Photography
Go check her out and LIKE her Facebook page!

Anyway, N and I are 4 weeks apart. Our babies will be born in the same month!! How crazy is that? Mine in the beginning of October and hers near the end of October!

It's really great being pregnant with your BFF. WHY?
Because you get to share that common bond of pregnancy.
I truly believe through this experience, we are closer than ever!
This is both our first pregnancy as well so we're going through all the same emotions, nervousness, and anticipation!

We pretty much talk everyday, giving each other support and encouragement, and also venting about morning sickness. N has been an incredible support to me. I'm way more frazzled than she is about the baby.

I'm planning on going up to Chicago in May; N and I are doing our own private mini baby shower for each other. We'll hang out, have a girl's day, and then exchange gifts. I wish I could share with you the gift I have in mind, but I'm pretty much going to show her this post after I'm done writing it. :P

It's so mind blowing and I am so thankful to God that I have someone close to me going through the same thing! Just wish we were closer in distance! I know she definitely feels the same.

Have you ever been pregnant at the same time your best friend was?

My Pregnancy Status:

  • 13 Weeks
  • Still nauseous
  • Craving fries (But have been getting so much support on this :) Thank you mom's)
  • Hungry all the time, but no real appetite
  • Finally taking prenatal vitamins with HIGH DHA doses
  • Can't eat any kind of meat or chicken
  • Lost 4lbs so far
  • Belly is rounding, but still at an awkward phase... Belly doesn't really look like a pregnant stomach. It's kind of in-between a fat belly and a pregnant belly. Hahaha! But CANNOT SUCK IN ANYMORE!
What did you crave during your pregnancy?

A Double Post: WHAT WHAT? :) {Special Announcement}

I have been MIA for awhile... Less facebook, less twitter, less social media. But there's a good reason for everything. :)
On January 25th, I took a pregnancy and found out it was POSITIVE
A day before my husband's birthday. What a great, early birthday present for him :)
Here's our pregnancy announcement we just posted over the weekend on Facebook.

Baby K is due October 7th!
We are excited and nervous all at the same time.
But this is the reason I haven't been motivated to keep up with blogging.
My days are incredibly long and with a baby on the way, it was just incredibly tiring and overwhelming.
Again I apologize for the lack of presence and love.
We're at 12 weeks so hopefully I'll be more energized!!

Thanks for your patience and understanding!!

About LSY Creations: "A little piece of handmade in the midst of everyday life."

I started sewing a few years ago, as a way to keep myself busy when my husband was working night shifts. As I shared my finished projects on Facebook, my friends encouraged me to open a shop online to sell my items. After a couple years of creating my own items, I have finally decided to share them with the world.

You will find variety of items in my shop. Everything from wallets and zipper pouches, to children's crayon rolls, crocheted hats, and dish cloths.

I really enjoy the thrill of finishing a product, and I hope you can enjoy them too. I spend a lot of time putting great detail into my products, and I'm always searching for more ways to improve.

Take a look around, and let me know what you think!

Amanda is also offering Love, Sarah K readers a 10% discount!

Chaos and Clutter = My Life

source
I am hoping this quote is true :) "All great changes are preceded by chaos." I'm ready for some GREAT CHANGES :)

My life is in deed a bit chaotic and filled with clutter right now. Physically and mentally.

I'm in grad school full time, I work part time, I have a long commute, and we've had some life changing news recently (which I will have to share with you in another post next week).

So with all that going on, our apartment is a crazy mess (I can't seem to find the time to really clean it) and I'm so behind in my homework. :(

Blogging has been on a hold for this past week as I have been trying to rest and enjoy spring break. I realized I have some assignments coming up next week so I must get started on those sometime today or over the weekend.

How's life been for you?!
